OMG what a fab idea and i love pictures of street signs.

my fiance is half swedish and loves his heritage. i plan on havin each table have a swedish city as a name instead of numbers. Stockholm, Eslov, Halmstad..etc.

We’re not using street names (but I love it!), I’m going to make the table cards as pictures of major events & places in our life. & the guests will have to find that location to find their table. IE, Florence Italy or Sail Cove (our first apartment) or Candlewyck Lane (our now house).

I love this idea! The street names would be a perfect way to tie in some sort of theme…even if you don’t use this idea for the actual wedding reception…it would be a great idea for a rehearsal dinner or a dinner to host out of town guests!

no way! my fiance are doing something very similar for our tables… only we’re using names of neighborhoods in philly.

I LOVE this idea. I’m partial to the pictures of real street signs rather than the DIY mock ups though.

Other street names to consider: Gratiot, Cass, Mack Ave.

You could also do this with neighborhood names: Greektown, Lafayette Park, Eastern Market, Corktown, etc.

I think this idea is great. You should do it….you and your hubby’s table should be West Outer Drive
