I love lists. They keep me sane.
So let’s build one together. Here are some of the places I’d recommend checking for deep discounts before you go paying a wholebunchamoney:
- ebay
- craigslist
- overstock
- etsy
- Pier1 Clearance Centers, if you’re lucky enough to have one near you, tell the rest of us where it’s located
- Cost Plus World Market
- Oriental Trading Company
- Michael’s
- JoAnn
- Hobby Lobby
- Target
- HomeGoods
- Jamali Garden
- TJ Maxx
- The Dollar Store
- Freecycle
- Bluefly
Now it’s your turn. Where are the hotspots to save a few bucks? Enquiring minds want to know.

I heart Ikea and Cost Plus Word Market. At Ikea we got great lanterns for table centerpieces and at World Market awesome little spice jars that are part of our favors.

Oh, and if there’s one near you, check out AC Moore. You can’t beat their weekly %50 and %40 coupons. I’m getting all of the garden rocks from the for a $1.16 per bag (half off the $2.28).
