UPDATE:
I actually bought the TEST glasses, not the MJOD beer glasses, which look very similar and are actually a dollar cheaper.

What do you guys think of these beer glasses from IKEA? They’re $6.99 for a 6-pack. I actually already have a set of these that we actually have never used. Turns out just because they look cool in the store and they’re a good price doesn’t mean anyone in the house will actually drink beer from a glass. Go figure.
Looking at them again, I think something like this might work as vases for our tables. We could use them with a few long stemmed flowers or some shorter stemmed flowers floating in water in the glasses. Or maybe something else – who knows.
Not a bad idea right?

I think it would be awesome if you mixed centerpiece options (I like variety). Some buds floating on top, some long stemmed flowers, perhaps some submerged types. Something that might look cool is to fill the bottom portion of some with river rocks (or glass marbles whatever) to add to depth to the concept.

We bought pub glasses that looked similar to these for our centerpieces at a dollar a piece at Old Pottery Time. They look wonderful and we’ll have plenty of glasses for after the wedding
